OK HI-I'm finally done-

Otay uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-uhhhhhhhhhhh-uhhhhhhh-
The demon king sat on his throne and watched disinterestedly as the oracles arranged their summoning spell, creating the large circle in which the human women were set to arrive. With any luck, they'd be here-he didn't think the mortals would be foolish enough to ignore letters sent from the king of the underworld. And besides, this was a prophesy-it went beyond all of them. It wasn't like any of the demon nobility was exactly thrilled about this either-they stood around, murmuring and gossiping amongst each other, lips pursed and muscles tensed. He watched as the oracles began their chant and the circle was lit up with an eerie blue light. The silhouettes of what must have been at least a hundred women began to emerge, finally coming into view, corporeal. Their bright ballgowns made them look like bunches of flowers, a bright spot in the sea of darkness that was his throne room. Some of them fainted. Others looked sick. Many of them clung to each other, huddled together with wide eyes, whispering and staring at the demons around them. He wondered what they were chattering about-the demons couldn't speak human tongue. He wondered if any of them could speak the old tongue-he doubted it, they were probably too stupid.
He noticed one of them not in a group. She didn't look...afraid. When a demon stared at her-she just stared right back...she even made eye contact-was she-was she-smiling at them!? She even went so far as to give them little waves-and when they weren't looking at her, she was just studying her surroundings-it seemed like she was almost-analyzing it...adapting to the darkness and the strange foreign world around her.
She ran out of the circle. The other humans stared at her in surprise, shrinking back, some of them reaching out their hands to stop her but always falling short, wrapped up in their own fear. The demons just sort of parted for her, backing away a bit, looking at her with wide eyes, unsure even of how to react. She ran straight up to the throne.
