She nearly fell out the tree and the leaves rustled loudly
Alex jolted up
"who's there!"
"frickfrickfrickfrick uhhhh" She was panicking and fell off the tree in a face plant "owww"
She gasped
"oh my gosh are you ok?"
She raised one arm up with a thumbs up "yep. happens all the time" She grunted
"are you lost?"
She puts her handout offering help
She got up "thanks but i actually live here"
"ah..."
Alex took her hand back
"how long've you been living here?"
"Forever! I was born here. Promise you won't tell anyone but... ima forest elf!"
