He just kept walking not saying anything, just smiling.

"It iss... almost 2:00.. aaaaaand i forgot I'm supposed to babysit my nephews this evening... crap"

"When's your sister get outta school?"
"3:45 pm..I can go get her know or I can stay, I still have about an hour. I can pick her up at 3:00 pm"
"okay!... if you wouldn't mind.. could you stay for the hour?"
"Sure, are they gonna be here within the hour?"
"my nephews? Oh- im going to them... i need to be there by 5:30 at the latest.. don't worry"
