It was Baking class(Which is a real thing in high school I know because I actually took this class it's really fun-) and Elliot was in the very back kitchen, working by himself. The assignment was independent or with partners, and most people had gotten into groups but Ell had stayed by himself. Besides, most people didn't really want to work with him anyway-not that he blamed them.
(For reference the way a baking/culinary class works is that there's actually multiple kitchens, they're just smaller-so there's about 6 and they have like-a small oven and cooktop and a sink and cabinets and stuff-it's all in one room too, so it's open-)
