I'm dumb. I have the lantern and the light crystal, but can't seem to figure out how to get light in the cave. Any help would be appreciated.
You can combine it at Morden's Lab. If you haven't been there, he sometimes appears at the Central Plaza.
After that, an event will happen on the next day where you'll be able to combine two items.
Check the barkeeper for hints in the game.
