He walks quickly down the hallways, getting to the library and running inside. He looks over at his bird
"Ok...where did you see him?"
He chirps in response
"Got it."
Adiran ran into the library out of breath
“You’re fast…”
He looks over
"Oh-sorry-"
He hears a small squeak
"Ignacio!"
He runs over to a mousetrap in the corner. There's a small, brown and white spotted mouse huddled in the back of the cage
"Oh dear..."
He opens the cage door
Adiran walks over
The mouse skitters into his hands and he looks down at it, comforting it
"Oh no...Ignacio, you have to be more careful!"
-a pest… why would he set it free… why would he name it?-
“A mouse…”
He nods
"Mhm...his name is Ignacio..."
“Why would you save a disease carrier… now that’s something I’ve really never seen…”
"Hm? Oh-I could see the concern, but Ignacio and his family are domesticated..."
