thaz fine-uh um-
It was the day of Lysander's arrival in Liliya, Darien's kingdom. Darien looked out the window waiting for the carriage to inevitably appear outside the castle doors, his bluebird familiar resting on his shoulder. He was honestly just nervous. Anxious would be the better word, he guessed. The kingdom of Voiennye had done so much damage to Liliya, inflicted so much suffering over their centuries long war. And while Darien knew that just because the prince he was promised to belonged to this kingdom, it didn't mean he was a bad person...what if he was?
Lysander's mother, Queen Genevieve of Voiennye, sat across from Lysander, studying him intently. She was there merely to accompany him on his journey, as well as to present him to the king and queen of Liliya...and to make sure he would not hesitate in his mission.
"Now-you remember all of your training?"
(His mission to kill Darien as a reminder-)
Darien peered out his bedroom window and noticed the Carriage pulling up in the driveway. He let out a small sigh, running a hand through his hair before picking the bluebird up off of his shoulder and setting it down on it's perch. He smiled down at it
"Stay here, ok?"
The bird chirped in response, fluttering it's wings a little. Darien walked out of his room and headed to the throne room. A butler came to Lysander's carriage and opened the door for him and his mother, bowing
???: "Greetings, Your Majesty and Royal Highness, it is an honor to have you in our kingdom. Please follow me, King Andrean and Queen Titania are expecting you in the throne room."
