The guy went over and grabbed the key from his pocket, when he did he started undoing the chains.

He walked over to Dev once the chains were undone, gently wrapping an arm around his waist to support him

He looked at him, a bit confused why he's being so nice but he reached in his pocket and grabbed the pendant and looked at him and held it out.
