The best part of this entire collection is the launcher. Maybe it’s just me, but none of the games in this collection are fun to play, visually appealing, compelling or even scary. The base idea behind this collection is definitely interesting, but the games in this collection do not do it justice. If the games were supposed to look like they were meant to be played on a PS1, why do so few of them even try to emulate the look of PS1 games? I was also disappointed by how games that come later in the collection seem to have almost nothing to do with the earlier games, despite the collection boasting an “interconnected narrative”. That is to say, I expected each game to tell a piece of a complete story; maybe it does, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it, since most of the games just made no sense. Overall I can’t say I was impressed by this collection and I can’t recommend anyone play through the whole thing.
Sorry to see you didn't enjoy it, we never had a planned narrative, it was more of a fun experience for us, an experiment, we made it in the same style of the telephone game, one person made a game in a week, passed it on to the next, who would have to play their game and make a game in a week based on that, then it'd carry on like that.
