He can't really move, but he calls out for him
"E-Ethan...?"
His eyes light up and he smiles
"E-Ethan...y-you're ok...!"
"I...I-I'm fine..."
despite all of the visual evidence to the contrary-
"N-N-N-No I-I am s-see?"
He sits up a little, grimacing from the pain and the effort

He lays back down
