Alright, so. I don't usually play horror games (i mostly play RPG maker horror one's) so I decided that this one would be a great first experience.
That being said, I'd like to say that it's a very immersive horror game. Had my heart beating fast a lot lol. I feel like that a big part of it has to do with the fact that there is a time limit as well as the atmosphere make you have a small sense of dread. And I love it.
One thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that a. I couldn't save. I assume that saving will be a point in the full game (as there is a continue button at the main screen), but I'm the type of person who gets frustrated a lot and quits games easily lol (before I go back to beat them). But there's also a sprint option, but I noticed little-to-no differenes in the pacing of the character. Was this intentional? Or does it not exist because it's the demo? On the one hand, not being able to run adds to the whole scary atmosphere, but sometimes it can feel slow because the distances are so great. However, I get that this is a demo so these features might not be here, but will be added in the demo (which is my greatest bet).
Overall, it seems like a lovely game with a great potential. The atmosphere is phenomenal, and the story around it is also very well laid out. It had me moving my mouse around all the time to check if anyone was coming or something would pop up suddenly. It was genuinely amazing!
