Bakugou can hear snippets of conversation as he gets closer
???: "...It's almost midnight already...you really think this guy's coming?"
????: "The others saw him sucking face with the dumbass last night-wouldn't be surprised if he came for his little fucktoy-"
???: "With him? Seriously, I mean-you knew him too, right? He's not exactly likeable-even boss hated him from what I heard-"
????: "Eh...he's pretty. Maybe the mortal likes pretty guys...regardless if they're total monsters-even by our standards..."
???: "Weird though...he didn't even fight back after we caught him-you think he's up to something?"
It's two vampires-they have the trademark red eyes-although come to think of it...Erick's eyes were yellow before...they're also WAY taller and WAY more muscular than Erick-it's almost like he's a runt compared to them. They're just standing around, chatting idly. Behind them, handcuffed to a pole is Erick. He's had the living crap kicked out of him. He has a black eye and a split lip, his face and body are just COVERED in bruises and cuts, he probably has broken bones too, although Bakugou can't tell right now. He's gagged, not that it matters-he's passed out.
