Yeah same as below I couldn't get past the first magnet bit. It wouldn't let me jump off of the red platform no matter what the polarity. Still an interesting idea though, and I can see how interesting the later levels might be if I could reach them.
(Edit, having seen the video of how it should have worked, the upwards force from the mgnetic base just wasn't strong enough to get me over the gap.
