Really cool implementation of the theme. I really liked the unique controls. The sound effects were great and the art very cute. Good job!

Thank you.

Had a ton of fun playing this. The cutscene at the end was a cool reward for finishing. Nice and cute.

At first I thought there were a bunch of different ways to move around (ie jump then shoot sideways to swing around) but once I realized the levels were designed with one movement style in mind ( jump then shoot other guy) I managed to get through everything.  I wonder if there would be a way to encourage more divergent game play and different movement styles in the level design? (definitely not in a 48h game jam tho, just for the future haha)

( I noticed that the music at default was muted, was that supposed to be?)

Either way great artwork, and super fun game.

Thanks or playing the game! The sound was not supposed to be off as default, we just forgot to fix that before we turned it in. And we'll definitively make the maps more diverse to encourage different kinds of movements, if we develope the game in the future!

yea that sounds like a great idea. We had different thoughts like the ability to disconnect the 2 slimes so you can shoot it to go further forward and then bring the other slime to it this could also be used in different puzzles. or something like throwing the other slime forward in order to move at a quick speed. and in this case, have different hp bars on the different slimes. but these are just some of the ideas we had for the game.

and with the music, we did not have time to change it to not be muted default so it was muted by default.

I definitely think we could have done more with the movement and the game. just didn't have time we might get back to it in order to make it better

thank you for the feedback ;)

I really like the art in this game! Also, controlling the characters was fun, and I enjoyed watching them bounce around. The only thing is that I found the control scheme to be quite difficult and could only make progress through trial and error. Still, seems like a great start to a fun platformer! Plus, I really liked the sound effects.

Thank you so much! This was our first jam on itch, so your feedback is invaluable. We believe the levels could do with some redesigning (and it wouldn't hurt clarifying the controls). The sound effects are mainly different sounds mixed together from the website www.zapsplat.com. Technically we didn't make the original sounds, but the sounds were all combined from this website during the jam. Glad you enjoyed! :)
