so the year is 2070
Scientists have bred humans and animals together, humans now use these hybrids as maids, servants and pets. The hybrids are second class citizens, and are not allowed to own property or earn wages or vote, that sort of thing. Hybrids not in service to humans live out in the wild, fighting for survival-they are also prey to getting captured by hunters-promptly being sold off to the highest bidder. In the midst of all this, a rich man takes on a new hybrid to keep as a "pet", and eventually the two actually fall in love, with the man being able to finally see the hybrid as an equal. However, in a world where humans and hybrids are actively kept as separate and unequal as possible, will the two be able to overcome the obstacles?
