He smiled and set her down
Lucretia, Sekira and Mina were all still among the women left. They all seemed to have become much more at ease in the underworld. Lucretia had learned that women were allowed to fight in the underworld, with many of them working as soldiers, and had been delighted-though she would never fully show it. Her family was a military family, and she had learned to swordfight along with all of her brothers, but due to the restrictions placed on women on Earth, she had been forced to sit at home and 'be a lady' while her brothers all got to fight. She spent most of her time in the underworld talking with the soldiers, and it was the happiest anyone had ever seen her. Sekira had gotten much less shy, realizing that many of the demons were actually very friendly-and they had all fallen in love with her sweet smile and gentle mannerisms, a breath of fresh air in the underworld. It was incredible-no one had ever really seen Sekira this talkative-it was like being here had brought her out of her shell. Mina though...Mina was a mystery. She didn't really talk to anyone-it didn't seem like she was unfriendly, she would speak when spoken to and could hold polite conversation...but most of the time-she was just silently wandering the halls of the castle, taking everything in, observing-no one could ever really tell what was going on behind those deep red eyes of hers.
