He yells from the middle of the crowd.
"Ah-I can see you're impatient, alright, this is a precious creature folks so let's start the bidding at 10,000, can I hear 10,000, 10,000 anyone-"
???: "10,000!"
"Alright, alright, 10,000, 10,00 going once, 10,000 going twice-"
"12,000!"
"Alright, alright, 12,000, can I hear 13,000, 13,000 anyone? No-aw, c'mon now, no one wants to take this little beauty home-"
Kaede: "STOP TALKING ABOUT ME LIKE I'M AN OBJECT!!"
The crowd breaks out into disgusted gasps and murmuring
He smiled looking at her then at the bidder.
"...alright then...12,000 going once...12,000 going twice-SOLD! Alright sir, c'mon down after the show to collect your prize!"
Kaede goes silent, sitting there wide-eyed
He pushed peole out of the way, not that hard he just moved past people and he walked onto the stage and looked at Kaede then the bidder.
She shrinks to the back of the cage, curling up into a ball as she stares at him. Two security guards come over and unlock the cage, grabbing her and pulling her out of it.
"She's all yours, sir."
He grabbed her and took his jaket off and put it on her then picked her up and started leaving.
