The stag reaches a clearing and comes to a dead halt as the sun sinks under the tree line
♤ Melanie hid in the underbrush and stared, completely wonderstruck ♤
When the sun sets, the stag begins to glow, morphing and changing. It transforms into a girl:

She perks her head up, looking around with wide eyes
