Akira's father is currently suffering from a deadly plague-one that has haunted the world since the second era. Scientists have tried everything they can think of to cure it, but they have yet to find an anecdote. Most recently, his father entered into the third and final stage of the plague. It is believed he has only a week left to live.
She's helping a little girl fix her gameport, it's not starting. The girl looks up at Ell hopefully as Ell studies the gameport disinterestedly. She slams it down on the table HARD. The girl lets out a shriek and jumps back a bit. She clicks the power button and the port turns on, working perfectly. She hands it back to the girl and she runs off.
