"So? You're the best freelancer in the field right? You should be able to do it."

"I'll try my best, though if anything happens to it, I'll pay for it..Got it?"

"Mhm. So, about X3N...He's...special. The goal is to make him perfect-almost entirely indistinguishable from a real person, with ALL of the feelings of one-that's where you come in..."

"Mhm I got it..so do you have him in a room..?"

"Yep. But I should be a tad more specific about what I want from you...there's a program in his system that makes him shut down when he experiences pain. I want you to override it."

(1 edit)

"That, is very difficult but I'll try and I just wanna know what your gonna do to him cause if he does experience too much pain he'll develop mental health issues, like the ones real people have. Which is very horrible because when they develop things like that, they start to get smarter or they could start getting things that we humans, maybe have never discovered."

"What I do with him is no one's business but my own. As I said previously, I want him as human like as possible-experiencing pain is a part of that. I'm not paying you to ask questions."

"Alright."

he glared down at him

"Where..?"

"Right through here."

He opens up the door to a small room full of equipment-seem this guy works in robotics too-although it's clear he does more physical work-skin grafting and the like. The android's sitting on a small operating table:

The advertisements weren't kidding-he's incredibly human like. If it wasn't for his heart-shaped pupils, eyes that seem to glow ever-so-slightly, and small barcode on the side of his neck, Ried probably wouldn't be able to tell. He looks up at Ried and smiles

"Hello, you must be the person my owner was talking about! Are you here to fix me?"

"I can't promise anything but do my best to fix you.."
