The Linux version not only doesn't work, but makes no sense at all. I unzip it and cd into it, and try and run `./DUST`. Permission denied. So, I `chmod u+x ./DUST`. I run it again. `./DUST: line 17: /home/user/Downloads/Linux/data/ags64: Permission denied`. I try with `sudo`, same thing.

Please, if you're going to make a Linux build, PLEASE TEST THAT IT WORKS!

The windows build works fine under wine, but please test your program before you push it out.
Via stiiin's solution, the screen is zoomed in and the cursor is super slow. As a Linux user, this just makes me really sad.

sudo isn't needed. The second error message is about ./data/ags64: running it isn't allowed, because it isn't marked as executable. To make the zip work, you need to add the execute permission to not one, but two files:

chmod +x ./DUST ./data/ags64

Dev, if you distribute executables for Linux, please use a format that supports permissions out of the box, such as tar (usually as tar.gz).

Thank you, and seriously? This feels like it should've been tested. (Guessing AndyL4nd doesn't use Linux and just hit the build button?)

Also, upon trying the Linux build, the screen is zoomed in and the cursor is super slow, but it worked fine under wine.

You're making a big deal out of a small mistake. I find it highly unlikely that Andy didn't check his work, but he probably didn't know that .zip doesn't preserve file permissions (without extra work).

> There is nothing to launch the game. It sets env variables which are never referenced and just ends.

This is just categorically wrong. It looks to me like you're trying to blow what is now an obviously minor issue out of proportion to justify your initial needlessly aggressive comment.

The ./DUST script is set up in such a weird way. Furthermore, the GAME DOESN'T EVEN WORK PROPERLY.

I can literally see one fourth of the content I'm supposed to see.

Hey, I see your comment. Thanks for letting me know. This is my first time programming anything, so sorry for the inconvenience. I took it down to avoid any other issues and I'll look into having it run properly for my future projects.

Thank you for properly addressing it ❤️

Programming can be tough, especially if you're new and the game itself is super cool. If you do plan on programming again, testing it out on whatever platforms you build for is the best way to assure quality.

Thank you for making an awesome experience, and keep up the good work :)
