She smiled while the little kid got from behind his mom and looked at her, he walked over to her and tapped her foot

(also he didn't have the undercut when he was 16 so he just know got it so she can't recognize him right away of course)

he grabbed his body and picked him up and smiled like he did in the car that day, he didn't see her though he was too focused on his brother and he turned to his mom showing the undercut, she grabbed his ear
