The dragon gradually goes still, Mari comforting it until it does, eyes closing. She cries for it.
When she was done she dropped her sword and ran over to Mary
"oh, I'm so sorry, I should've helped you first..I'm sorry..I am terribly sorry Mary.."
she hugged the dragon and cried on it
"..." Mari quietly comes over and puts a hand on Alanna's shoulder
"I'm so sorry..."
She grabbed onto Mari and started crying
"I'm-I'm so sorry sorry,I didn't- I..W-.."
she choked on her words
She rubs Alanna's back, hugging her
"Shhh...it's ok...it's alright...you have nothing to apologize for..."
She kept crying trying so hard to stop and looked at Mary and petted her
"I know...I am so, so sorry..."
"Ramon is gonna be pissed..and I don't want him too..I'm-I'm sorry you too.."
"It is not your fault-the blame lies squarely on my kingdom's shoulders. I am so sorry...if I had just gotten here sooner I-I could've-"
She looks so guilty
"No it doesn't..I should've known..it's-its ok..this has nothing to do with you.."
