(Ok this is me, Overlord, cutting in to say that you should read the book series Three Dark Crowns-it's YA fantasy, and it literally has a kingdom who's entire aesthetic is exactly what you're posting. Also-it's just really, really good.)

The Butler flinches a bit at seeing the snake
"We shall ask the maids to bring it to your room-I'm sure we can find an enclosure suitable for it..."
King: "Ah-"
The two seem a bit surprised by how informal she is
King: "Y-yes...our daughter is more than willing to court you-she is as eager as I'm sure you are to put this vile war between our two kingdoms to rest. I am sure you are...wanting to meet her-she should be here shortly..."
One of the doors behind the throne begins to quietly creak open, and the king perks his head up
"Ah-and here she is now..."
