He stands ramrod straight and looks at the king with the steely expression of a soldier

King: "And you will do whatever it takes to keep her safe?"

"Yes."

King: "Good. Then you begin starting now. Escort the princess back to her chambers and ensure that she stays there."

"Yes, your highness."
