In real life (don't know if it is also in the game) old snow is usually more faster than new snow to ski on, so that could possibly be the difference in the game. If it's something else then I can't answer that.
thank u for ur answer but i still dont understand what old snow is used then in the game because it can be any snow race new swnos means when its snowing in the race i think
