-she starts to walk away-
Mela: ...You lied to me again after that...things from that night...the night I got drunk-they're starting to come back to me...I know what I told you....and it was the truth too...
"I'm not gonna go through this again!..do you even love me or were you pretending?"
-Darien walks away for the last time-
Mela: ...Of course I love you! I always did...that's why...that's part of why this hurts so much...
She cries
Mela: ...But there's no happy endings...not for my kind...not for the monsters...so I knew...I should've known...
"Yes you are a monster literally.becausr humans can't turn into a d**m fox!"
The next day
It's quiet. Unusually quiet...Mela's not singing.
-Darien walks past the woods and into a cafe-
She doesn't hear...anything. No singing, no crying...
-Darien orders a caramel latte and sits down-
She hears the faintest howl coming from the woods, low and mournful...but it's not Mela's.
