The voice gets louder, and Rose finds herself taking a step into the ocean, and then another, waves lapping at her legs
"...Fade like foam on the ocean...¨
It reaches up to her waist, skirts billowing around her. Hands reach up and grab her waist, pulling her down into the ocean.
Seawater floods into her mouth, choking her. She looks up, gasping for breath-and sees the face of her captor.
He has a tail, btw. A beautiful, shimmering teal fish tail. He looks her in the eyes, cups her face in his hands...and kisses her.
