He can hear Kaz's panicked voice coming from the phone
Kaz: Kat-what's going on!?

August: LET GO OF ME KATSUMI!
He kicks and struggles against Kat, trying desperately to get free
Kaz: Shit! Kat-don't do anything you'll regret...damnit, I know there's a portal somewhere in those stupid woods...

He wrapped his hands around August's throat
August's eyes widen. He reaches up and puts a hand on Kat's cheek
August: ...Ok...ok...mi amor...just...let me go...
:...I love you..that's why you have to s-tay.."
August: ...ok.
He let August go and picked up his phone.
"Bye Kaz...see you a-at the wed-ding."
Kaz doesn't respond, he's already at the woods trying to find the hell portal. August sits up and curls into a ball, shaking badly.
