Celeste Physical Version Update (Please help!)

Hi! I bought the Celeste Collector's Edition (Physical PC version) a few months ago. Until now, I haven't had any issues. Mods, controls, etc. have been working perfectly. However, now that update 1.4.0.0 has released, I was wondering if there was a way to update my version of the game? I've scoured the internet and looked everywhere both in the game and in it's files, and I can't seem to find a way to download the latest update without buying another copy of the game. How do I download this update, and if I can't using my version, would it be possible to get some sort of key or code for the latest version of the game? Thanks!

Sorry for the slow reply, but if you bought the Physical PC edition from Limited Run you should have received an itch.io key on April 19 which you can use to update to the latest version.
If you bought a PS4 or Switch physical edition, the game will update when we launch 1.4 on consoles (we're still working on it).

Hi, I have bought the Physical PC edition from Fangamer back in December 2019. I have checked my email and there was no update key. Will the Fangamer buyers be able to update soon or is it maybe possible to directly contact you and manually verify the purchase and get the update key? I already own the latest version of the game on Steam and Epic Games, but I would love to update the physical copy, too. Thanks!

No problem! I bought the Physical PC edition from Fangamer, but it wasn't during the Limited Run release. I never received an itch.io key. The Physical PC edition is the only version I have on PC, so I don't currently have a way to get 1.4. Is there any way to get the update for this version? Thanks again.

I second the question, I bought the PC collector's edition in january 2020 from fangamer, and I'd also like to be able to download the updated version.

Was there ever a resolution for this for those of us who got the physical version from Fangamer? Would love to be able to update the game...
