Esme: My people are doomed regardless. Even if I were to have children-and that's a big if-there's no gaurantee that they would have magic...and it wouldn't really solve the problems my kind faces. They pin all their hopes to me foolishly. It's a pipe dream...and considering that I can't even go back to hell...and that I wouldn't want to even if I could...

"You give up easily huh. Even if there's a small percentage that you could save your species. You should at least try. OH MY GOSH! DON'T USE THAT AGAINST ME THAT WAS IN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CONTEXT!"

Esme: Nope! No that's SUPER hypocritical of you...and considering that you're the reason why most of my people are gone now-

"I'm- ... what?"

Esme: Mhm! Most of my people died out due to a mysterious disease-shortly after we arrived in Hell, actually...I'm going to take a wild guess and say that was your doing...

"A disease? Nope. Not me. What year was that?

Esme: Um...

She thinks, biting her lip

Esme: it must have been...around the time when the humans were having that renaissance thingie...1600's?

"Oh....  that was when I... the deer.... Wait. What did they call it when this happened?"

Esme: They called it...The Chaos Devourer.

~death quickly stands up and takes steps backwards.~

"I'm going to get back to what I was doing."

~he turns and flies away as fast as possible~
