wow, sooo much going on here. I can tell the story impacted you and I take it as a compliment that the ending of chapter 9 made you go back and actually read through everything.
I'm glad you're open to the lot of what the story is suggesting; and while the themes in the game aren't meant to be preachy, I hope they lay a foundation for others to start from if they've faced their own struggles; a blueprint if you will. While it's adult oriented, there really is an intention to break new ground with this game and do something special so thanks for giving it a second shot ( i know the beginning is weak).
