Technically nothing to complain. I have a long experience on evolution simulations, so I definitely like to see where this one is going.

Possibilities for this kind of simulation are endless. Here are some ideas (probably you've already thought much of these):

  • It would be fun to keep the game running background (or perhaps on a server at some point) and come back time to time.
  • Sleeping mode: go to sleep and in the morning (or at night for horror element), you'd never know what the sluggos have become.
  • I assume that bushes, mushrooms etc. are something that you can dig up at future versions. And the food affects how the animals develop?
  • Crossbreeding.

Issues after a quick test play:

  • I'd like to change the active inventory item with scroll wheel.
  • Sluggos seem to have problems eating. They just play with their food by pushing vegetables all over.
  • It's hard to relax when this devil keeps staring at you:

Those are some good ideas. I may implement some kind of evolution system in the future. Thanks for trying it out.
