The only ways I've found are to either reload the most recent save before the glitch began, or if it doesn't give an error immediately load any save except the one you want to load that has access to the skills menu, tap on any skill to put it's description on the bottom text box, and load the save you want to load, you can prevent the glitch by making sure you never save with the description of anything on the stats screen on the bottom text box
