Hey I downloaded this before realising that my monitor runs at the wrong aspect ratio (Can't fix this belive me ive tried) so the birds and plants clip through my windows.
I uninstalled it like you would a normal software and it's still here, ive looked through my files and its gone like I deleted it but I still have birds and plants. this is rather annoying and id like to know how I can fix this.
Idea! You could make it compatible with the goose, so goose can eat that grass and catch your mails, or either make a goose minigames! Great work btw!! :)
probably does, if not, get a new computer. If you are still on windows 7, you either need to stop postponing the update or get a new computer because my dads windows 7 has new lost update support.
this is such a great idea! your desktop things are really fun, and I like that there are a lot more notes (like stranger pen-pals) that keep things interesting. unfortunately I can't play the game because I have a mac, but I hope others will enjoy it!!
i absolutely love this game! i couldn't spend anything on it but when i get some money online i most definitely will! Only two super tiny things that may be nice. It would be handy if we had a list of words you can't say and maybe if we got messages more often, other than that absolutely wonderful! my favourite thing on my laptop by far!
hey If you want a Mac version your gonna have to message the guy who made it samperson doesn't have a Mac so he can't make it yet a guy on reddit sent a Mac version to him of desktop goose thats why desktop goose is on Mac
So cute and wholesome! I love the letters to strangers system. If there was a way to send messages to particular users to start a correspondence that would be amazing, although I'm sure that'd be hard to pull off.
The meadow itself lags significantly behind the actual window when I move the window around, but I don't move windows around enough to care.
it wont open, when it apears on the desktop i open it but nothing happends, please help, i even uninstalled and reinstalled but it wont work! i also dont have any antivirus apart from windows defender, and when i scan it for 'viruses' windows defender says its safe! HELP!!!!!!
its so beautiful but pleeeas increase the maximum about of letters you can type peer letter i wanted to write something just a little bit longer and it didnt fit so i needed to cut some spacebars here and there, hope the other one will still be able to read it :/
It technically is, but it doesn't harm your pc. You can install it without worry. antiviruses however block it, so disable antivirus before running the application.

There is no "malware" version, but the one in the itch.io page is legit. Antiviruses call it a virus, which is why youtubers use the word virus to get more views.

There's also an 'uninstall' executable in the folder it gets installed into.
In the *worst worst* case, you can just quit the app, delete the install folder, and everything will be good! (which is by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Samperson\Desktop Meadow)
this looks awesome but ive read comments about this being like impossible to uninstal.. once im sure i want this app and not being able to uninstall wont matter for me i will download tho :3

try restarting the computer

It shouldn't be... Try to reinstall and uninstall agian.
you might have to re-download it, go to settings and close it, then uninstall it.
right click the short cut and go to open file location and you can delete the foldure it's in.

the main reason i am postponing is that i have more freedom of what goes on on my pc in 7 than 10.
plus im a creature of habit. i don't like to change if it is not needed.

Works well, but wish the sprites wasn't so small since i have a 4k screen.
