And yes, the game really had a price tag in the past, but this is in the past. The discount has remained until now because of the strip that you see above the game, for some reason itch io does not allow me to do it without a discount or other bundles (well, or I'm just stupid and didn't notice XD)
You are not obliged to donate for this demo, but if you did it, in the final version of the game you can see your nickname in the credits for the donation when the game was in the demo and get a free game in incentive STEAM (when it comes out).
