This would be a pretty cool feature. fish could be used to feed the citizens, maybe you could be lucky to find something more interesting... this feature could give the textile industry more use, use wool and break it down to string, maybe it could be crafted with two string and a pole? maybe make display cases to show off your big catch. I would love to see this in the game eventually.
