I like the concept, but I dislike the limited amount of jumps. Maybe I'm just too stupid to manage them, but I find the 2-3 given aren't enough to scale it in a quick and fun manner. I have to stop at each block, which really breaks the flow of the game. I feel like with a larger pool of jumps this game would be much more fun. Or, if there is a way to chain jumps and hits in order to scale it a lot faster, a tutorial on how would be awesome. Maybe a little sign in the "hub" area, that tells you how. I really enjoy the concept though. Cheers! :)
I understand where you are coming from 100%. I played around with a few ideas like refreshing a jump when you hit an enemy earlier on and it was definitely fun but it always lead to the game becoming too confusing or too easy.
although I'm sure I could keep tweaking and improving this and it is a project I'd love to come back to and expand upon, so feedback is really helpful.
