Actually, I think she is harder than ever now. For me, what is normal difficulty in this version is more difficult than hard difficulty in previous version. I have played 1.8 and a few versions before that, and I'm having more trouble escaping than ever before. Old strategies became obsolete in 2.0, and it's now much more difficult to get away from her, much less avoid her for more than a minute after finally getting away from her. There's also the fact that if she catches you holding the exit key in this version, you instantly lose.
Yes, she can change into "MORE SWEETY girl", but that's only until you grab a key or do something that winds up angering her. Furthermore, even if she isn't angry, she will still play annoying pranks all the time if you turn away from her. So if you want a successful run, you probably still have to avoid her, but she's more difficult to escape from now and very good old strategies don't work anymore.
