I really like making games in Unity. But there are definitely some other great game engines. I've recently made a video about that topic comparing the (in my opinion) Top 10 Game Engines. There are some really popular ones like Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot or Game Maker Studio 2 but also some that are not that well known, such as Solar2D, Torque3D or Defold.
