I can't judge what's wrong without the save file but the new update will have many bugfixes so it should be working then. It will come out in a few days.
The Discord channel/Patreon is the place to be for patch notes and progress updates.
XoMo and I are already working very hard on the LTA 0.7 which will the largest update yet.
