Max: -he looks at him worried- -makes that meow sounds that cats make when your sad- (idk whaat its called)
Kaz looks up at Max and smiles through his tears
Kaz: H-hey...don't worry about it...I-I'm fine...
Max: -he crawls into your lap and just tries to distract you from being sad-
Kaz pets him and cries for a while
(I should mention that Kaz does not cry super quietly...)

Sam: -he wakes from the loud crying- h-hey are you okay?
(good news my mother has fallen asleep and thusly the computer stays with me!)
Kaz jumps a little, startled
Kaz: Y-yeah! sniffle yeah I-I'm f-fine...
Sam: are you sure . . ? you dont seem ok. .

Kaz: I-why do you even care...?
Sam: -he looks at you tiredingly- . . why wouldnt i?
