A concept that's been used before in games, of course, but that's no bad thing at all, and framing it around a jumping dog is quite nice. It's rather learn-by-dying, but that's expected for this sort of game where you repeat the same sections over and over to get the hang of them. I think the physics and handling would be better for a little tweaking, though; it feels rather "drifty" and not very much under control and perhaps if movement were more direct and snappy that might be an improvement?
