Kaz:...Hey-you want to see my scars?
Don: what?
Kaz lifts up his shirt to show two giant parallel gashes on his back. They're black and look fresh
Don: are you ok?
Kaz: Oh-yeah, they don't really hurt anymore-
Don: ok... they look fresh...
Kaz laughs bitterly
Kaz: ...yeah, they don't heal. Never will.
Don: ... may I have permission to touch your person? I think I can treat it. It won't make it heal but... it'll make it stop.
