Great work! (Sorry I didn't come to see this earlier...) As for the art, it's much better, just maybe darken the foreground so there's a bit more contrast between it and the background.
Glad you liked it! Yeah, after posting this, I darkened the background(not foreground) as it is less important for the player to see. Expect another devlog today!
