1/19/21: Sorry for the super late update, but fortunately I'm almost done with my build of the game! The last thing I have to do is make all the events for the final dungeon and the ending sequence. Working on this has been really cathartic and I hope it resonates with those who play it. My only drawback for myself personally is that I'm still using the default RPG Maker MV assets and music (though I plan on adding some of my own music before I post it; I'm having problems importing it into RPG Maker MV). I also want to add voice acting but I only have myself and can't voice all the characters (though I'm thinking of maybe voicing the MC and narrator). But that doesn't mean I can't release an improved version either!
Anyway, here are some screenshots!
I guess characterization wise, I hope that the not-so-great characters of the crappy hometown don't seem too exaggerated or like caricatures, but also like I've met or know people who've met people like that in real life lol.
