how do you put a link in a word

ok so when you post...do you see the top bar? where it says bold and a dash and other symbols

then click the one that looks a bit like this : (-) just the parenthesis are smaller

then click insert link then put the URL then type in text what you want the red text to say like this like click on this text that is what you should type
