I played this game, I really enjoyed most of it. It has been almost a year since I played it and I forgot a lot, but. For people who didn't play yet I would say it's a cohesive story. I want to say, this game has a lot of what you would call "emotional scenes". It also has action, it has funny scenes, sci-fi stuff, slice of life stuff, funny moments, backstories/character-stuff, it really has many things, that are integrated within the main plotline.  I guess you would say it's a very full story. One thing that stands out to me, is, I feel like, the characters feel very round, human, and I think their human-ness and their emotions are very palpable. It's the opposite of some anime VNs or dating sims where it's like, everyone acts like a stereotype. I think you would call them like, complicated characters with different motivations.

Anyway, I think it has kind of the feeling of a "modern" story, very tied to daily reality. Although the setting has advanced tech and stuff, many of the emotions are things you have felt before and things you could probably relate to. If anyone has played Lucid9, I would say that the IncomSpe characters give you way more of that human-sense than Lucid9 characters, which give you more like an anime-character sense. Lucid9 feels way more like an anime/light novel, and this feels way more like an English-written story. I don't know how to describe it, but the way the characters act and how they are written feels like something you would read in an English novel or piece of media, it's totally different from anime VNs. Many VNs, they are inspired from Japanese media and anime VNs, so they kind of feel similar (for example DDLC which is obviously inspired on prupose). But this is different, is what I'm trying to say. The style is different from Japanese VNs, I think.

Also when I saw DJ Horn voices Lucius, I had kind of a whaat moment. Because Lucius is my favorite character in IncomSpe, DJ Horn is also the route writer for my favorite character with a route in Lucid9, Airi.

Thank you for the analysis! I'm glad you enjoyed IncomSpe for those reasons.

Besides the "modern" feelings mentioned, I'm not sure I intended to write the characters one way or another, but I did want to give them that human-ness mentioned. Happy to hear it came off well enough in that regard.
