Software Crashes When Loading Raster Image Layer.

Software crashes when inserting a raster layer imported from 5MB image file.

I have recently purchased the full version of the software, and had it working fine on little test projects.
I have just encountered an issue where the software crashes ( closes without warning ) when I try and create a raster layer from an imported image.  It appears to only do this on larger image sizes ( around 5MB ) The file that I am trying to use is a greyscale 200mm x200mm 300dpi image that I have created in Photoshop.  I have tried BMP and JPG.

Is there something I am doing wrong here?  It appears to work consistently for a 3MB file.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi James, can you send the contents of the log  file that PixelCNC produces after an image-loading failure? You can get to the log files folder from the File menu. I'd suggest running PixelCNC, opening the log files folder, and then re-creating the crash by creating a new raster layer with one of your larger images. Then if you sort the log files by "date modified" you can be sure that the most recent one captured a session where the issue occurred. You should be able to open up the log file and copy-paste its contents over to http://www.pastebin.com which will generate a link you can post here so that I can take a look at what PixelCNC is doing. :)
