Is this game open for modding?

First of all, sorry is this has already been answered/stated and I haven't seen it. My bad! Sorry for the inconvenience.

In any other case:

I've played this game, and I honestly love it, but, of course, it is indeed a short game. Not saying that it's incomplete, it's just like I felt that I needed more of this masterpiece.

Anyway, I had some trouble with the gallery and viewing the +18 content in it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), so I dove deep in the game's files and (kind of-not entirely) fixed it by myself. Then, I kept looking in the files, because I love to do that, and wondered if I could mod the story in any way. I have moded some games previously in Ren'py (unfortunately, none of them have been finished *sad noises*), so I was wondering if I could mod this game aswell. I have no intention of selling the mod, nor to distribute the entire game for free. I'll just share the rpa file(s) of the mod wherever I can (I'm not close to being famous, but I'll try), state that is fan-made content, and, of course, meant to be played after having read the original story, not instead.

This wouldn't be my full-time activity, I just wanna invest in this game some of my sparse free time. Nevertheless, I understand if the permission is denied (it wouldn't be the first time, hehe).

Have a nice day, and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi, thanks for asking. As long as you don't include any official assets in your packages then we're fine with it.

Btw DaForq, I also had the same issue with the 18+ gallery scenes missing, but I was able to fix it by redownloading adult.rpa from https://vnstudioelan.com/games/highwayblossoms/highway-blossoms-adult-patch/ (I had downloaded  adult.rpa previously by searching for it online, and maybe I downloaded an out of date version then)
